David J. Jones Bio David has more than twenty five years
experience in the construction and manufacturing industries. He
has worked closely with many manufacturing organizations
facilitating expansion and process efficiency projects. His wide
experience includes numerous manufacturing processes and he has
been involved with several major investment projects including;
Metal Melting, Heat Treatment, Electronics, Textiles,
Pharmaceuticals, Plastics, Automotive products etc.
In 1993, David was recognized as a specialist for assisting
manufacturers with efficiency and energy issues, David was
recruited by the State of California to establish programs and
initiatives at the State level to assist manufacturers become
more competitive.
Since 1998, David has been working closely with California based
manufacturing companies helping them improve their processes,
infrastructures and profitability.
David's recent accomplishments include:
Development of projects that led to $5 million of capital
investment by US Government for several major manufacturing
projects in California
Project manager for client Lean Implementation which resulted in
a $1 million reduction in work in process (WIP).
Facilitated a Kaizen event which led to the re-designation of a
company to a "minor generator of waste". This company went on to
receive a Pollution Prevention award as a result of this
project.
Recognition by US Government for outstanding achievement in the
cause of Industrial Energy Efficiency
Team leader with a project team who achieved incredible results
and improved a client's productivity by 400 %.
David is a member of the Institution of Electronics and
Electrical Incorporated Engineers as an Incorporated Engineer.
