Professional Experience:
Mr. Hynes has practiced in San Francisco in the patent law area
and currently specializes in patent prosecution. His practice
covers all phases of mechanical engineering, nuclear
engineering, optics and general Internet protocol patents. He
was a deputy district attorney for Alameda County and for the
first 15 years of his patent practice was active in litigation.

Engineering, Stanford University, 1957
Representative Clients:
Current concentrated efforts include the origination and
prosecution of patents related to laser capture microdissection
for the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, MD.
Additionally, he is working as Intellectual Property Counsel to
numerous Bay Area entities including Dantz Development Co
(Backup Software), Guntert and Zimmerman Const. Div. Inc (Heavy
Paving Equipment), and Robert DeMatteis of Grass Valley,
California (Bag systems). Mr. Hynes has worked in physics and
optics for over 30 years, representing for over 20 years the
late Luis W. Alvarez (1968 Nobel Prize; 1978 Inventors Hall of
Fame). |
